SURVIVAL GAME OVERVIEW

• Pick the winner of one NFL game each week (no point spreads) without selecting the same team more than once during the season.
• If your team wins, you advance.  If your team loses or ties you are eliminated.
• Entrants are grouped into 35 member leagues.  10 leagues form one division.
• The last survivors Overall and in each grouping are declared our prize winners.
• Results are posted on our website each week.  Also, after week 4, monthly updates are mailed out to all survivors without valid email addresses.
• The Survival Games runs through the entire NFL regular  season.

WILDCARD LOSERS BRACKET

• If you should become eliminated from the Overall competition, you are then placed into the Wildcard Losers Bracket for a second chance to win.
• The last survivor in the Losers Bracket is declared the Wildcard Champion.
• Entrants who are still alive in the overall Competition are NOT eligible to win the Wildcard Losers Bracket.

TIEBREAKER FORMULA

• If multiple entrants are eliminated from their grouping in the same week or survive until beyond the final week, our tiebreaker formula is used.
• To break ties, we add up the accumulated points from the margin of victory from all your winning picks, minus the margin of defeat from any of our losing picks.
• The entrant with the highest point total is declared the winner.
• Example:  If the team you select wins 24-10, you add 14 tiebreaker points. If the team you select loses 10-7, you subtract 3 tiebreaker points.

WEEKLY SELECTIONS

• You may select teams playing on Thursday through Saturday,  but must submit your pick prior to kickoff time of the game involving your team.
• The final deadline each week is noon ET on Sunday.
• Failure to make a valid pick prior to the Sunday deadline will result in you receiving the default selection--the road  team on Monday night.  If the Monday night road team is a  team you previously had selected, you will receive a loss.
  
  Note--On weeks when no Monday night game is scheduled, the Sunday night game will be used as the default selection

PRIZES

• League, division, and Wildcard prizes are GUARANTEED.
• The $25,000 grand prize is based upon 2,500 entries.
• This Overall prize will be prorated higher or lower than $25,000 based upon the actual number of entries received.
• Any additional entries not fitting evenly into one of the 350-team divisions or one of the 35-team leagues will be added to an existing division or league. The prize money in this larger division will be increased proportionately.

Mid Season Survival Game Overview

• The Mid Season Survival Game runs from Week 7 (Oct. 21) until the end of the regular season!
• In the Mid Season Survival Game 100% of the prize money is paid to the last overall survivor.
• There are no league winners.
• There are no division winners.
• There is no wild card winner.
• This pool will be a one-winner-take-all competition.

Mid Season Prizes

• The $10,000 award will be prorated higher or lower based upon the actual number of entries received.
• 80% of all of the entry fee money received will be paid out to the grand prizewinner.

Mid Season Entry Fees

• The deadline to sign up is Saturday, Oct. 20th!
• All other rules for the Mid Season Survival Game are consistent with the Survival Game rules stated previously..
